Frequently Asked Questions
How did you find this money?
We audit government agencies’ documents and files to discover unclaimed funds that are due to private citizens, such as you.
How did you find me?
We use the internet, along with software created to assist with contacting hard-to-find people.
How much is my claim for?
Please complete and sign our Contingency Agreement (available here) and send it to us. Once we receive it, we will let you know the dollar amount of your claim and where it is being held.
Where did this money come from?
We will also answer that question after you have signed our Contingency Agreement. Most of the time these funds are derived from unclaimed inheritance that you are unaware of, accounting errors, and overages.
Is there a time limit on collecting my claim?
Definitely! In most cases there is a window in which the funds can be collected or claimed, and after that it is turned over to the government by the agency that is holding it. Then, it becomes government property and cannot be claimed. So, time is of the essence! The sooner your claim is filed, the less likely it is that you will lose your funds to the government. Let us start your claim filing process now.
How quickly will I receive the money?
After the paperwork has been completed and the claim submitted, it may take the agency a few weeks to process. Once the claim is approved, the check is sent to us. We will let you know that is has been received. We then hold it for 30 days to ensure that everything is okay with the agency that was holding it. Next, we send your funds to you on the 31st day via express mail.
Is this legal?
Yes. If we determined that you are the rightful owner of the funds, then you have the rights to claim them before they are lost to the government. It is also legal for our firm to deal with government agencies on your behalf by acting as your agent, with proper documentation.
Is this a scam?
No. Our company will never ask you for one cent out of your pocket. Our firm works on a contingency basis, this means that we get paid ONLY when we have successfully filed your claim. The paperwork that you will be completing in order to file your claim is required to be notarized by a licensed Notary Public. The documents are very easy to read and understand and can only be used one time to file your specific claim. If you have any questions or concerns, please ask us.
Can I just look for this money on my own?
Yes. However, it could be very challenging for the casual researcher. Here at Georgia Funds Discovery Solutions, LLC we have an extensive “Toolbox” that we use in our research and discovery of funds. These are tools that you may not currently have at your disposal. Also, please remember that time is essential. Why would anyone go looking for a needle in a haystack when one has access to someone who already knows precisely where the needle is?
I want to talk this over with my family, wife, husband, friend. Can I have some time to think about it?
Absolutely. However, keep in mind that the proverbial clock is ticking. Let us get started on the process of filing your claim in a day or two. The sooner, the better! The longer you wait, the more likely it is that the funds could be lost to the government forever. We think that it would be cool for you to get started today. What do you think?
Can I have my daughter, son, wife, husband, Mom or Dad handle the process?
Yes, you may have a family member or advisor give us a call. However, we need to have your signature notarized on all documents and to have your identity verified via a valid driver’s license or other form of government issued identification before we can process a claim on your behalf.
Why should I use your company?
You should use our company because we have already discovered the funds and we have found you! It is also highly unlikely that you will be notified or become aware of the funds without a firm such as ours. Simply put, we would like for you to use our company because we like seeing the funds end up where they belong: in your pocket. The hardest part of the job is done, now all you need to do is say yes and complete the paperwork. Will you?
You may thoroughly examine the documents that we use, they are available right here , under the forms tab. Most of documents are standard and are prepared by the State in which your funds are located. The contingency agreement is easy to read and to the point. It simply states how we will split the proceeds of your successfully collected claim (minus expenses). Also, the paperwork is for a one-time use ONLY, between you, our firm and the government agency that is holding the funds for the sole purpose of filing the claim. We do not have access to your financial information. And you are ONLY giving our firm the power to make decisions, about your claim, and NOTHING else in your life. Also, please remember that, the documents MUST be notarized by the licensed notary public.
We would like for you to know that you are in good hands and that we do our best to provide an excellent customer experience with lots of smiles, grins, and, on occasion, a few very happy tears!
